The warning begins at noon Sunday and lasts through 10 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for several parts of central PA Sunday afternoon.
Excessive rainfall could accuse flash flooding at creeks and streams, and in poor drainage and urban areas, according to the National Weather Service, although the probability for hazardous weather remains low. The flood watch covers Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Montour, Northern Lycoming, Northumberland, Perry, Schuylkill, Snyder, Southern Lycoming, Sullivan, Tioga, Union and York counties, the National Weather Service said.Residents should monitor forecasts and be prepared to take action in the event of flash flooding in their area.
