The warning covers South Mountain/Ahwatukee, Scottsdale/Paradise Valley, North Phoenix/Glendale, Central Phoenix, East Valley, Southeast Valley, Northwest Valley, Fountain Hills/East Mesa, Cave Creek/New River, Deer Valley, Buckeye/Avondale, Gila Bend, Pinal/Superstition Mountains, Tonto Basin, Sonoran Desert National Monument, New River Mesa, West Pinal County, Northwest Pinal County, Southeast Pinal County, Tohono O'odham Nation, Santa Catalina and Rincon Mountains, Tucson Metro Area, South Central Pinal County, Baboquivari Mountains, Upper Santa Cruz River and Altar Valleys, Aguila Valley, Superior, Globe/Miami, Southeast Gila County, Apache Junction/Gold Canyon, San Carlos, Upper Gila River and Aravaipa Valleys, Chiricahua Mountains, Galiuro and Pinaleno Mountains including Mount Graham, Upper San Pedro River Valley, Eastern Cochise County below 5000 ft, Dragoon/Mule/Huachuca and Santa Rita Mountains, Northern Gila County, Oak Creek and Sycamore Canyons, Yavapai County Mountains, Coconino Plateau, Grand Canyon Country, Marble and Glen Canyons, Kaibab Plateau, Yavapai County Valleys and Basins. The warning expires at various times, primarily THU 9:00 PM MST for some areas and FRI 5:00 AM MST for others, with a few until THU 11:00 PM MST.
