Train passengers across the country can get 50p tickets today as Northern Rail launches its 'flash sale'. With journeys from Leeds to Skipton, Huddersfield to Bradford and Ilkley to Leeds all reduced.
Commuters have until this Friday, January 13 to buy a ticket which is valid for travel between Tuesday, January 17 and Friday, 10 March. A welcomed change for rail passengers after months of strikes and interrupted services. Local routes include journeys to and from Leeds to Skipton, Illkley and Bradford Forster Square Station as well as Bradford to Huddersfield, and Leeds to Ilkley. The route from Harrogate to Knaresborough is also reduced with journeys from to and from both stations.
'Split save' tickets have become for passengers who book throught the Trainline app, and can be used to plan travel routes to fit around the discounted 50p journeys with Northern Rail.
