The university had sued Paul Parshall in 2019 for his use of trademarks that included Penn State Nittany Beer.
WILLIAMSPORT – A Florida businessman has been permanently enjoined from using any form of Penn State’s trademarks.
Wilson’s order requires the Pennsylvania secretary of state to cancel all of Parshall’s trademark registrations related to the university including those for Penn State Nittany Beer and Penn State Nittany Brewing Co.Parshall is required to transfer to the university all Internet domain names containing a portion or derivative of Penn State’s marks.
Penn State in 2019 sued Parshall who does business as Sports Beer Brewing Co. that is operated through a website.
