Tornado warnings were issued for parts of Indiana Tuesday.
More NWS surveys will be released through the end of the week, but at least five tornadoes have been confirmed in central Indiana from May 7th, Tuesday's storms.INDIANA, USA — The NWS has confirmed at least 5 tornadoes for central Indiana from Tuesday's supercells. A tornado was also confirmed in southern Indiana.
National Weather Service meteorologists are still working on northern Indiana tornado surveys and crews will be checking out Fayette, Union, and Franklin county soon to confirm if there were gusty winds or tornado touchdowns. They believe EF-1 damage is in the area by the lake, over by Hickory Woods Campground in Franklin County. That has not been officially counted in the total tally yet.The tornadoes impacted Shelby, Rush, and northern Decatur counties.
