Five Republican presidential hopefuls will meet Wednesday night for the third GOP debate, with Donald Trump once again skipping the event. Here’s what we’re watching.

Five Republican candidates for president will meet Wednesday night for a third GOP debate — with the dominant polling leader Donald Trump once again off-screen and trying to upstage the event with a rally nearby.The debate will take place at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County and air from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern time on NBC News platforms. It will also be live-streamed on Rumble.

The field has narrowed since the first GOP debate in Milwaukee. Former vice president Mike Pence recently dropped out of the race, and former Arkansas governor Asa Hutchinson and North Dakota Gov. Doug BurgumFormer New Jersey governor Chris Christie, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, tech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina will be participating in the forum. Here’s what we’re watching for.
