People were nominated by friends, family, or peers through Joy FM’s website. The winners were presented with a check to cover their rent or mortgage costs for the next three months.“Home Free” began as paying free rent for a year to just a few families. However, VP of Marketing and Communications at Five Star Mike Bridges said they were always looking for ways to impact more people.
