COLUMBUS, Ohio — Five-star cornerback Na’eem Offord has committed to Oregon, ending his long recruitment by flipping his commitment from Ohio State.
Offord, the No. 11 overall prospect in the 247Sports composite rankings and the No. 2 cornerback in the class, committed to Ohio State back in February after a weekend visit. It came as a surprise at the time, and the Buckeyes held the Birmingham, Alabama pledge for nearly a full year.
Ohio State’s class will take a hit, as the talented cornerback from Alabama will play his football in a place other than Columbus.
