World Negroni Week kicked off on Saturday and to celebrate, some of the city's top bars have created their recipes for the cocktail classic.
It's one of the world's most famous cocktails with bars around the world having their own twist on the recipe.
So should you want to take part in the cocktail celebrations, here are the recipes from five of the city's top watering holes.August House, Mitchell Street – The Blackberry Rose Negroni Add the Beefeater Blackberry gin, Campari and Cocchini Rosa to a mixing glass or tin. Fill to the brim with ice and stir with a bar spoon for 30-45 seconds until icy cold and slightly diluted. Strain into a rocks glass, over crushed ice.Ingredients:Pour the gin and vermouth into a mixing glass.
Strain into the rocks glass, on top of the gin and vermouth mix. Twist the orange peel over the top of the drink, expressing the oils, then place on top of the foam to garnish.Add the Beefeater gin, Select Aperitivo and Cocchini Torino to a mixing glass or tin. Fill to the brim with ice and stir with a bar spoon for 30-45 seconds until icy cold and slightly diluted. Strain into a rocks glass, over one large ice cube.
