Five people have been found dead in a southern Maryland home after reports of gunfire, authorities said.
Charles County sheriff’s spokesperson Diane Richardson said the bodies were found at a house in La Plata, south of Washington, DC, by law enforcement around 4 p.m. Friday after a witness called 911. Richardson said the dead appeared to all be adults but she did not say if they were shot. No names have been released. “It’s too early to say… what the motive is,” Richardson said.
