A man needed treatment following the incident in West Calder on Monday lunchtime
A man has been left hospitalised after a disturbance in broad daylight which allegedly saw a group of men being attacked in a Scots village on Monday.
Police were called to the incident on Main Street, West Calder in West Lothian on Monday afternoon at 12.35pm, where a man was taken to hospital. It has now been confirmed that he had since been released.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.35pm on Monday, 26 June, 2023, officers received a report of a disturbance on Main Street, West Calder.“Five men, aged 28, 36, 37, 42 and 55, have been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.
