Fitness guru Cameroon Falloon has purchased a Toorak property for $12.35m, while a storybook homestead has hit the rural market.

Former personal trainer to Princess Diana and founder of Body Fit Training gyms Cameron Falloon and his wife, Leanne, have emerged as the buyers of a $12.35 million Toorak home.

The off-market sale took place in June last year and settlement documents confirmed the fitness entrepreneur and his wife – who own 24-hour gym The Exercise Room in Footscray – took the keys to the 1930s residence. In 2017, Mr Falloon founded BFT which has grown to more than 240 studios in Australia, the US, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Lindon’s ‘Great Hall of the People’ is made from stones found on the property and was inspired by stone buildings in Cornwall. The converted mansion closed operations in July last year after 24 years when owner Karen Kouzas retired. The 30-room luxury retirement facility sits on more than an acre landholding at 5027 square metres.Selling agent KayBurton’s Sam Wilkinson says the estate, which comprises four buildings, could be returned to its former glory as a private residence or transformed for either commercial or educational purposes.
