First trailer for The Kissing Booth star Joey King's new movie The Princess.
The trailer opens in stereotypical fairytale fashion, showing King's titular princess locked away in a tower by the sadistic Julius who she's betrothed to.
"I'm not a piece of property to be traded," she pleads tearfully, stuck in what appears to be a hopeless situation. This is where the typical fairytale aspect of the trailer ends and we're introduced to a strong-willed and capable princess, determined to save her family no matter what. With help and martial arts training from Veronica Ngo's character Lin, The Princess is soon seen effortlessly cutting through numerous armoured guards.
