Outfielder Mike Yastrzemski tested positive for the virus Sunday morning, after first experiencing mild symptoms Saturday.

The Giants didn’t have time to bring in an additional player for Sunday’s series finale against the Nationals but they’re anticipated to add a player for Monday’s game in Milwaukee.The Giants will test all of Yastrzemski’s close contacts, which should encompass most if not all of the players and staff in the clubhouse.

Nobody on the team has worn masks in the clubhouse this season, and nobody besides Yastrzemski was wearing a mask Sunday morning.
