The first game for the Mid-Atlantic Region, which includes Pennsylvania, is Aug. 15.
SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — If a Pennsylvania team makes it to the Little League World Series in August its first game will be at night the second day against the Southwest Region champion.
The U.S. bracket games will be played in Howard J. Lamade Stadium and the international contests will be in Volunteer Stadium.The four games Aug. 15 at the same times are in order, Japan-Puerto Rico, Metro-Mountain, Cuba-Europe and Africa and then the Southwest-Mid-Atlantic contest. Drawing byes and not playing until Aug. 16 are Latin America, Great Lakes, Australia and Northwest. Regions that had a bye in 2023 were not eligible to receive one this year.
Home teams for the first-round games will be decided by a coin flip during the manager briefings before the start of the modified double-elimination tournament.
