A couple who were found dead in their car after it was swamped in floodwater have been named locally. Philip and Elaine Marco tragically died when their black Mercedes was submerged in deep flood water on Queens Drive in Mossley Hill., Liverpool.
Another said: “Baruch Dayan HaEmet. My thoughts and prayers are with their family and the whole community.” A third said: “RIP Elaine and Philip xxx.” Katy Koo said: “So sad. This should never have happened - it has been a known spot for flooding for years. RIP.”
