First picture of woman found dead at home as police launch murder investigation
A MURDER probe has been launched after a 49-year-old woman was found dead at a home in Doncaster.
Amanda Sedgwick died following the horror on Wednesday at around 11pm with a 48-year-old arrested on suspicion of murder.He has since been released under investigation while police continue to investigate Amanda's death. No details on how she died have been released with her family being supported by specialist officers.A spokesperson said: "On Wednesday 20 May at 10:59pm, officers were called to a property on Manor Way in Askern following a call made to the ambulance service reporting that a woman had died.
"Officers investigating are urging anyone with information to contact them, please call 101 if you can help. Please quote incident number 1017 of 19 May when you call. "If you feel uncomfortable talking to the police, you can stay completely anonymous by calling independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or visiting crimestoppers-uk.org."
