at Nottingham's new Jurassic Cove adventure golf course. The dinosaur-themed attraction will open this weekend . Located on a busy main road, the site has already attracted plenty of interest as it started to take shape.
Giant dino bones and skulls are among the obstacles golfers will have to overcome to get a hole-in-one. The family attraction has been built on the corner of the A610 Nuthall Road and Stockhill Lane, on an acre of disused land with a former bowling pavilion.A cafe with seating inside and out has a menu of pizzas, toasties, jacket potatoes, cakes and super-size cookies. There is also a free car park.
"It's exciting. We are looking forward to a busy weekend. The weather is looking great. We've had lots of bookings. Hopefully we've got a couple of weeks where we just ease into it before the busy summer holidays. "It's on a busy main road, lots of houses around, lots of families, so we are hoping for a successful opening. It's probably the biggest course we have ever built. There's some really good fun holes out there We are very proud of it."
