First human trial for coronavirus vaccine starts in US

A CLINICAL trial to evaluate a vaccine designed against the novel coronavirus started yesterday, a US Health official confirmed, reported the Xinhua news agency. “The vaccine candidate that was given the first injections for the first person took place today,” Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases , told reporters at a White House briefing yesterday.
