Mona Lisa Yonas is born on Wednesday morning at the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital.
Midwife Emily with proud parents Semhar Tesfu and Yonas Kflu of Perry Barr and baby Mona Lisa YonasMona Lisa Yonas arrived at 08:48 GMT on Wednesday, at the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital.
The facility opened after the maternity department at City Hospital Birmingham closed and maternity services were transferred. Midwife Emily, who delivered Mona Lisa, said it was an exciting day that she would remember for the rest of her career.Hospital bosses said women in labour and those requiring emergency care should now go to the new Midland Metropolitan University Hospital.
