MONTGOMERY, Ala. - First things first, a look back - January 2025 goes down in the record books as the coldest January since 2014. We had 20 mornings where the temperature dropped below 30 degrees; that’s the second highest number we’ve measured in any January. Only January 1940 had more mornings below 30!
In fact, Monday and Tuesday of this week will both feature a mostly sunny sky. Afternoon highs will soar into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. While overnight lows to start the week will be in the 50s.
