MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Wednesday is off to a chilly start for Alabama! The chill won’t last, as the warm April sun will help temperatures soar into the mid 70s by afternoon. Winds will be light to calm today.
This means GREAT weather for our WSFA First Alert Weather Event this afternoon! We’ll get started in Millbrook at the ASE Credit Union at 4pm and broadcast live through 6:30pm. We’ll have StormTracker 12 on site, you can meet the WSFA First Alert Weather Team and we’ll have vendors on site who can help you prepare for severe weather. Please note, this stream does not include live severe weather coverage, only data on the latest weather conditions. Even warmer weather is in the forecast both Thursday and Good Friday. Afternoon highs Thursday will be in the lower 80s while Friday will be in the middle to upper 80s. Both days will feature a mostly sunny sky with clear conditions overnight. Lows will remain in the 50s and 60s through the end of the week. Mid to upper 80s are in the cards for Easter weekend. Saturday and Sunday will feature a partly cloudy sky along with the warm temperatures. We’ll stay dry through at least Sunday. Lows this weekend will be mild near 60 degrees. A quick First Alert as rain chances are projected to ramp up next week. The precise timing is still uncertain but the pattern suggests a few days of rain are a good bet next week.
