A few leftover showers stuck around through the morning hours, but we told you dry air would return quickly and so would that sunshine... low humidity is funneling into the state as we speak, so it is another breezy afternoon.
Speaking of feeling cooler, we are going to see some seasonable overnight lows, which hasn’t happened in a while! Crisp, cold 40s are expected over the next few mornings, but that is normal for the middle of November in Alabama. Temperatures drop quickly after sunset; upper 40s by sunrise Friday is what most of our area will be greeted with when walking out of the door early!
Expect a bright, sunny sky on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with just a few fair weather clouds. The fall feel with comfortable afternoons and crisp, cool mornings, will finally make its return.Highs this weekend will warm into the upper 60s to mid-70s depending on the day while overnight lows will remain in the 40s.
Long range forecast models indicate that rain chances will become more likely as we move into next week and temperatures will be much cooler, but still a lot of wiggle room ahead of its arrival.
A cluster of storms in the Caribbean Sea, south of the Dominican Republic, has become Tropical Storm Sara. As it moves westward through the Caribbean, it likely hangs tight and doesn’t move much through the weekend... we will be watching and monitoring the situation as it inches closer to the southern Gulf of Mexico next workweek.
