First Alert: A noticeably cooler Sunday. Conditions start to change as moisture gradually enters the River Region
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - A calm, comfortably cool morning is in progress across Alabama! Temperatures will warm into the lower 80s this afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds. One or two spots - mainly in far south Alabama - could pick up a scattered shower or two this afternoon, but that will be the exception and not the rule.

Tuesday will be very similar - one or two stray showers are possible, but most will be dry. All of us will be warm with afternoon highs in the mid 80s.Scattered showers and warm weather headline the forecast for the second half of the work week. The coverage of rain each day will be fairly limited - around 20% - but a few splashes of rain are possible each day. Highs stay in the mid 80s.Saturday will again feature a skimpy scattering of showers and temperatures in the 80s. The best rain chance is late and west of Montgomery. A cold front moves across the state on Sunday - this will bring our best rain chance of the week.
