Both central and south Alabama dry out this weekend and we warm up a bit early next week
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Helene continues to quickly move across north Georgia and into Tennessee and Kentucky. As the tropical system pushes away from central and south Alabama, clouds will continue to thin, and drier conditions will set up across the region through the weekend.
The remnants of Helene will continue to spin near the Ohio river valley, close enough to give parts of north Alabama clouds and a few lingering showers this weekend. As for our part of the state, conditions will improve and plenty of sunshine will be around.In fact, both Saturday and Sunday will feature sun and a few clouds. High temperatures will rebound back into the middle 80s with overnight lows in the 60s.
High temperatures will remain in the middle to upper 80s each day with overnight lows in the 60s under a clear sky. Making way for a picture perfect week.
