Rain and a few thunderstorms are possible next week, as a front sweeps across the area Tuesday into Tuesday night.
MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The holiday weekend has started off warm, dry and sunny! Temperatures will remain above average, clouds will be a bit more noticeable and conditions will be dry for both Easter Sunday and April Fools’ Day on Monday. Rain and thunderstorm chances increase Tuesday as a cold front sweeps across the state, behind the front will be a temperature chill down by mid-to-late week next week.
The first day of April Monday will remain warm and cloudy. Highs will again warm into the lower 80s, even with cloud coverage in place. Dry conditions are expected Monday and into Monday night. Lows will be in the 60s.Clouds will be present yet again on Tuesday, as a cold front approaches from the north and west. Highs will climb into the 80s yet again and winds will be breezy out of the south.
Clouds will clear and temperatures will be the big story mid to late week next week. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will feature highs in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. Dry conditions are expected during this period of time and skies will be mainly to partly sunny.
