Cooler, drier air slowly filters into the state Tuesday and Wednesday with afternoon highs dropping into the upper 70s and lower 80s. You’ll really feel it in the morning when temperatures drop into the 60s and 50s. Winds are projected to increase as we move through the next few days, all due to winds flowing from a high pressure over our region, hence the dry weather, to the strong low pressure that is Hurricane Milton in the Gulf of Mexico.
