MONTGOMERY, Ala. - After one more cold morning, central and south Alabama will experience a dramatic shift in the weather pattern this week. Temperatures will climb into the upper 50s to low 60s by late week, with increasing chances of rain as a series of weather systems move through the region.
Clear skies and light winds created ideal conditions for strong cooling across central and south Alabama. Early-morning temperatures are in the low to mid 20s across central Alabama, with mid-20s readings possible in south Alabama. Wind chills will dip into the low 20s.The cold pattern continues through Tuesday with mostly sunny skies and below-average temperatures. Central Alabama will see highs in the upper 40s to low 50s, with similar readings expected across south Alabama.
