Mohamad Salleh Ismail says the proposal was made since 2018 but not approved by the then Harapan government.
National Feedlot Corporation , the company which became embroiled in the "Cowgate" scandal in 2011, said it hopes that Putrajaya will approve its proposal to settle the outstanding debt with the government.
Salleh, in a statement today, said it had made the repayment proposal since November 2018 but it was not approved by the then Pakatan Harapan government. "The proposal had been conveyed to the government through letters multiple times since November 2018 and the most recent being on Feb 4, 2020.
