Fire crews were called to the wildfire in the Pule Hill area of Marsden Moor shortly after 4.25pm this afternoon . Images from the scene showed huge plumes of smoke visible for miles around.

A patrol car was pictured on the road this evening. Mount Road was also shut to allow fire crews to access the scene.
