Firefighters are tackling a raging blaze in the East Renfrewshire area, as six fire engines, three police vans and two incident response units attend the scene.

Officers have closed the area while crew tackle the fire. At this time it is unclear if there are any casualties. In footage taken earlier on this evening, dark smoke can be seen billowing from the direction of the hotel, with an eye-witness saying it is "so sad".We will bring you more on this story when we have further updates.
