Crews were detained an hour as they 'released one casualty from the entrapment of a towbar of a vehicle'
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to the Promenade shortly after 9.30pm on Monday . One crew from the town attended the incident and 'released one casualty from the entrapment of a towbar of a vehicle'.
Firefighters used small tools and lighting and were at the scene for one hour. No further details have been provided about the casualty or if they sustained any injuries.In a statement, LFRS said: "At 21:35 on 2 October 2023, one fire engine from Blackpool attended an incident on Promenade, Blackpool. Firefighters released one casualty from the entrapment of a towbar of a vehicle.
