This fire broke out after 5 a.m. this morning at a large three-story apartment building at 19th Street and Kerrigan Avenue.
All streets in the immediate area, including Kennedy Boulevard, are closed. Fire officials could not be immediately reached for details on the blaze.battled multi-alarm blazes on Eighth Street downtown and on Jane Street in Weehawken. All three fire sights are approximately one mile apart.
