Acting quickly, firefighters were able to extinguish the fire without any problems.
Photos posted to social media show the fire appeared to start near the engine of an SUV that was sitting near a pump. The front of the SUV was shown looking melted and charred. Firefighters from the Gaston Volunteer Fire Department, Eaton Volunteer Fire Department and Albany Delaware Township Fire Department assisted Hamilton Township Volunteer Fire Department in snuffing the blaze. At approximately 9:13 Hamilton Fire was dispatched to a vehicle fire in the area of 9600 N Wheeling.
