Crews are fighting a fire in Upper Allen Township that has damaged two homes.

Although first responders were initially told that two children may have been trapped inside the residence, that report was unfounded, and the children were located safely, Bruetsch said. No injuries other than the two firefighters were reported, according to Bruetsch. The damage to the home is severe, Bruetsch said, and a second home adjacent to the blaze sustained extensive melting of its siding.
