A star-studded benefit concert , FireAid, is set to take place on January 30th at the Intuit Dome and Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. The event aims to raise funds for wildfire relief efforts in the wake of the devastating blazes that have ravaged the Los Angeles area.
A diverse lineup of musical icons, including Sting, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, will perform at the concert, which will be broadcast and streamed live across numerous platforms including Apple Music, Apple TV, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudum, Paramount+, Prime Video, the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM, Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps, and YouTube. Additionally, select AMC Theatre locations across the U.S. will screen the event. The concert is being organized by Shelli, Irving, and the Azoff family, in collaboration with Live Nation and AEG Presents. All proceeds from FireAid will go directly to supporting short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives aimed at preventing future fire disasters. The Annenberg Foundation will oversee the distribution of these funds.This event is part of a broader wave of support from celebrities and entertainment organizations for wildfire victims. Beyoncé recently donated $2.5 million to the LA Fire Relief Fund, established by her charitable foundation, BeyGOOD. The Recording Academy and MusiCares launched the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort with a $1 million donation, which has already grown to $2 million in emergency aid thanks to additional contributions. The 67th annual Grammy Awards will proceed as scheduled on February 2nd at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with the Recording Academy emphasizing its commitment to supporting relief efforts
