Action News Jax has learned of two overnight fires in Jacksonville that required the services of the fire marshal.
The first fire took place at a home on 13700 1st St. W. in Northside Jacksonville. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department reported that the entire home became “fully involved” in the fire, and the state fire marshal was called.
The owner was home at the time of the incident, but no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is unknown. Crews are responding to the 13700 block of 1st street west to a residential structure fire…E35 is on scene advising this home is “fully involved “.The second fire took place at a home at 3300 Guernsey Ct. The family was home at the time of the fire, and the Red Cross was called for two adults and two children. No injuries were reported at the scene.
