A shed and a number of trees were fully alight
Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service have begun an inspection following a fire in Irchester. Fire crews had to ask police to close the road to tackle the blaze on Sunday night.
The fire also affected a Transit van that was inside the shed when the fire took hold. Firefighters used a 45mm jet and two hose reel jets to start tackling the flames.NFRS requested the attendance of Northamptonshire Police to assist with traffic management in the surrounding areas and to close the road. Northants Police published on social media that Station road toward Knuston was closed.
