Once experts know which section of the plant burned they will be able to identify potential contaminants, according to University of Houston Vice President of Energy and Innovation Dr. Ramanan Krishnamoorti.Without knowing where it is located, the first order of concern is the impact the thick smoke could have on “people who have got compromised breathing, people who have upper respiratory challenges,” he said.
