Trump Ramps Up Criticism Ahead of Thursday's HearingPresident Trump fired off a series of tweets Thursday morning criticizing the impeachment inquiry and news coverage of the hearings.
Mr. Trump started out at 7:26 a.m. by complaining about Fox News giving air time to Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell of Califonia. "Fox should stay with the people that got them there, not losers!" the president tweeted. A few minutes later, Mr. Trump tweeted, "I never in my wildest dreams thought my name would in any way be associated with the ugly word, Impeachment! The calls were PERFECT, there was NOTHING said that was wrong. No pressure on Ukraine. Great corruption & dishonesty by Schiff on the other side!"
