Authorities announced an arrest Wednesday in a nearly 46-year-old double murder in western Massachusetts.

Last month, Gulluni said the district attorney's office was contacted by someone who said a friend of theirs who had since died told them Joley was involved in the killing of two people on Route 5 in West Springfield in 1978. Marcoux and Harnish's parents are no longer living, but members of their families attended Wednesday's press conference.
