Here are some of the pros and cons of the major work policies businesses are currently offering—remote, hybrid and in-office.

Hybrid Could Be The Worst Of Both Worlds

For unorganized or forgetful people, they could easily leave materials in the office—out of habit—or forget to bring the laptop home. When others are in the office and you’re at home, you face the same plight as remote workers. You’ll be a box on the Zoom call, along with many others, while a small cordial group is bonding together in the conference room. There are still the costs incurred with commuting and the time consumed in the car, bus or train two or three days a week.

The positive aspect of hybrid is that you will be in the office a few days a week and can have some face time with the boss, reacquaint with co-workers and enjoy the change of scenery. Since it's only a few days a week, going into the office won’t be too much of a hassle. You may even look forward to getting out of your house or apartment that you’ve been stuck in for the last two years.
