It was pouring rain at the time of the collision Monday and a previous crash about two miles south had slowed traffic in the area, police said.

County officials previously released the names of the other two bus passengers who died when their bus flipped on its side: Serigne Ndiaye, a 26-year-old man, hometown unknown; and Alioune Diop, a 39-year-old man, of Bronx, N.Y.

Monday’s crash happened just before midnight in Lower Paxton Township and involved a charter bus carrying dozens of passengers that struck another vehicle that had stopped in the right lane of the southbound highway. It was pouring rain at the time and a previous crash about two miles south had slowed traffic in the area. The bus had just come around a curve when the crash occurred.
