) - The second and final phase of the 17 Springs project is almost complete, putting the multiuse sports complex in Millbrook on track for a ribbon-cutting in February 2025.
The second phase includes a bowl-style stadium that seats 5,500 and features a turf field, which will become the home of the Stanhope Elmore High School football team in 2025. An eight-lane track surrounds the field, which will be used by the track team.A big part of the second phase is an 87,000-square-foot field house. In addition to hosting volleyball, basketball and wrestling, officials plan to use it for more than sports.
