Nicole Perdue defeated Michael Landrum after a final count of vote that including mail-in and provisional ballots.

A Democrat civil district court candidate who was trailing her Republican opponent pulled ahead and won the seat after a final tally of Harris County ballots, official election results show. Nicole Perdue defeated Micheal Landrum for the 133rd Judicial Court in the final election tally Thursday, which included mail ballots — as well as provisional ballots from both early voting and Election Day — added 4,520 votes to Perdue's final tally. Landrum received an additional 2,495 votes.

Colin Allred fared far worse than Beto O’Rourke in the fight against Ted Cruz Harris County commissioners accepted the final votes Friday morning. Neither Perdue nor Landrum were immediately available for comment. Cindy Siegel, chair of the Harris County Republican Party, said she spoke with Landrum, and he was considering his options before making a decision on whether to ask for a recount.
