Here's what you need to know to be ready for the 'Final Fantasy 7 Remake.'

that players can purchase. The Standard version for $60 comes with the base game and all DLC will have to be purchased. For $80, you can buy the Deluxe version which includes an artbook, a mini-soundtrack, a steelbook and the Cactuar and Carbuncle Summon Materia DLC. For those willing to drop $330, you can buy the First Class edition which comes with everything in the Deluxe as well as a Play Arts Kai Cloud Strife & Hardy Daytona figure.

Having a fully posable Cloud figure is nice, but not sure that it's worth an extra $250 dollars.for multiple hours, I can say that the game definitely lives up to the hype. Gone is the turn-based combat, replaced with a robust but still understandable menu system that keeps you engaged. The story itself is a bit convoluted, but that's just how Square Enix rolls. If you are a fan of JRPGs or giant-sword simulators, then this is the game you've been waiting for.
