It’s revealed that the reason the group of young scavengers are on the Romulus is to steal parts in an effort to get out of their current places in life.

Things quickly take a turn, however, as the group finds themselves up against an alien threat. The new trailer also shows off more of what the Xenomorph in the film will look like and more of the terrifying tentacles of the facehugger.franchise following 1979’s Alien, 1986’s Aliens, 1992’s Alien 3, 1997’s Alien Resurrection, 2004’s Alien vs. Predator, 2007’s Aliens vs Predator: Requiem, 2012’s Prometheus, and 2017’s Alien: Covenant. The new film is set between the events of Alien and Aliens.

“While scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, a group of young space colonizers come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe,” the synopsis for the movie reads.. It’s from a screenplay he co-wrote with Rodo Sayagues based on characters made by Dan O’Bannon and Ronald Shusett. The film’s cast includes Cailee Spaeny , David Jonsson , Archie Renaux , Isabela Merced , Spike Fearn , and Aileen Wu.
