Filthy fly-tippers caught on CCTV dumping tonnes of rubbish outside homes in Birmingham twenty times in 4 weeks
July 19 - Household rubbishThe angry home-owner said: “I’ve seen tyres, scrap metal. I’ve even seen a dead rat stuck to a sticky pad used to catch rodents. I've seen nappies, it’s disgusting to be honest."It’s a health hazard especially for kids walking in the street.
"They’re not worried about kids' safety, or women pushing their prams and having to step off the pavement and walk on the road and put their lives at risk. The council hasn’t responded to those points.""It is a crime that damages the environment that we all have to live and work in. Responsibility sits with those who dumped this waste with no regard for the local community.
“Where we have credible evidence, we will investigate and prosecute, as is demonstrated by a range of cases that have received widespread publicity in the past.
“The council can only prosecute when credible evidence, that meets the criminal burden of proof, is available.”Another was seen carrying and dumping unwanted items on the street
