Top news stories today Loach is one of only nine filmmakers to win the award twice and also holds the record for most films in the main competition at Cannes, with fifteen films. In 2014 the film director was hospitalised after sustaining a head injury on the set for his bittersweet comedy The Angels’ Share based in Glasgow.
