MANILA - The Department of Foreign Affairs said Wednesday 24 more Filipinos abroad were sick with COVID-19, raising the total tally of overseas infections among Filipino nationals to 2,455.
The respiratory illness has also killed 4 more overseas Filipinos, bringing the death toll to 284, the agency said.“Despite the decrease in the daily rate of recoveries reported by the DFA through its Foreign Service Posts today, the total number of overseas Filipinos who recovered from COVID-19 at 858 cases is now 3 times more than the total fatalities at 284 and comprises almost 35 percent of the total confirmed cases,” the DFA said in a statement.

In the Philippines, the COVID-19 has so far sickened 13,221 people, with 842 deaths and 2,932 recoveries.
